Old leather gloves are your friend when it comes to the callus wars. You'll still get them but nowhere near as severe.

You know that you need to do bar dips. I mean you get the hardest thing done(to get yourself over the bar) and then you cant lift yourself,thats because you dont do bar dips. Take my advice , you will si it is going to help you.

2:21 in gymnastics you get these quite often in your early days. They call them "rips" usually it's deeper than in the video and they spray alcohol on it to disinfect it. It's always really funny to see someone get a deep rip for the first time, because the coaches tell them they won't feel the alcohol, so the reactions are priceless

Everyone knows that it need conditioning, but I guess His expectations blocked His vision.
Six months without doing muscle ups and you wonder why you can no longer do a single one ... LOL :)) This must be one of the most demanding physical things anyone can do. It's not like learning to ride your bike up some steps or running 800 metres. Speaking from personal experience, the number of muscle ups I have achieved in my lifetime is ... zero.
I just hit my first muscle up today it really is just about timing and technique not solely just strength

I love this, but the fact that you havent injured ur shoulders doing muscle ups yet is impressive. I wouldnt advise muscle ups if u want to train for strenght or hypertrophy. This is a party trick, not an exercise
