  • Brother you don't understand how happy I was when I did my first 5 hahaha... everyday I would wake up with my brain giving me images of me doing it appropriately until I finally did... however I did train a lot differently then you and I needed up achieving in about 40-50 days but that's because I've been working out for sometime and I decided that a muscle up with be cool... but congrats

  • the easiest way to do it would have been do pull ups with bands, and to do tricep push ups at home to assist with getting the second part done quicker. you also shouldnt try the muscle up until you can do a pull up effortlessly and get as much of your body above the bar as possible, as you need that to get into the muscle up position. this could have saved you possibly a month or maybe 2 weeks if you had more than 1-2 rest days per week

  • as someone who can muscle up , if you're training those : Train your explosivity , brute force pratically don't matter with muscle ups , you wanna go quick and high , train pull ups by going fast and throwing yourself as high as you can , throw your knees too , muscle ups while letting your legs limp are 10x times harder The transition between pullup and dip is the hardest part , cause your arms are almost in front of yourself , the thing is you're not using your strength to get up from this position , you're using your speed , that's why you need to get high don't worry about the time you take , everyone progresses at their own rate , when you'll get one , you'll see you will pratically never miss them

  • Build your own pull up bar, that's what iv'e done, once you build one you can do all sorts not just muscle ups. :) You can do a lot more that you think doing callisthenics. idk if you have already but do some research, you dont need weights. :) (Apart from a weighted vest once you get stronger)

  • Good video bro but just wanted to point something out. People don't get hurt trying to muscle up before you can do 15 to 20 proper pull ups! You'll end up putting strain on your shoulders and possibly your back and can get hurt. I've hurt myself before because I'd gained weight and couldn't muscle up like I used to but I forced it before I had the proper strength. Anyway hope whoever reads this stays blessed:)
