In this week's Learn Quick I find out how long it will take me to learn to ride a mountain bike up stairs. Can it be done?

Why is there a red hardtail on the thumbnail - when you ride a blue fully? Clickbait!

What bike do u have?
I’m out of breath just looking at this
What bike is that ?

MLTR
Omg really top
My wheels poped while i tried this
The ending will show why so many of us feel it unnecessary to pursue this ability.
Do you think its possible on a hard tail?
What happened at the end? 8:26
lol.....
you should try learn to moonwalk
145 wpm fast typing
Now you have to try it this way... lvworld.info/face/video/dqvWaWy6r8ehq9Q
This is 1 second slower then my first slay on the coco crab
Get that bike dialed in. It's way off downhill.
i walk by there on my way to the Lidl :D Always wanted to go down thsoe stairs with my bike
I rode up stairs for the first time recently and couldn't believe how easy it actually was. Obviously the shorter the runner or steeper the staircase, the harder it is. It's almost strange how amusing it is to do.
got one question though why do u have road bike pedals on an mtb?
Hey dude, what's the name of your bicycle?🤔
Saracen brand, Model i dont know
Take in, this man decided to do this with clipless pedals and cleats, thats ballsy
"Oh my legs" sealed the like from me lol
wow he good
And this week I'm gonna learn how to ride a bicycle and I'm 14 😐
You need to ride the trails with berm peak / Seth’s bike hacks
Dude that's gotta be scary with clipless pedals! Heck nah! Riding up stairs isn't easy and the easiest is with a 29er cause the tires roll up easier, but it's still a lot of work and takes some practice! But you got it man!
When are you gonna learn to bunnyhop
We Daleks used to have a lot of trouble with stairs, if feel your struggle
I do this all the time lol
2:32 oof
its not 114 stairs but more like steps
You dont have to brag about you having a dropper post
learn the front lever or planch please
"One cup of English tea later" Me: yep, he's nailed it now
Holy crap didn’t realise he was from dundee
This was definitely filmed in Dundee, Scotland right?
Someone from 2021?
Full suss wimp. Try it with a hard tail. That takes technique. But well done mate, lol.
Speeeed is key. -jacksepticeye
I gt tired watching u taking so much efforts 😃👌👌👌👌👌
As a mountain biker myself i advice just set your sag to your weight and it will do much better considering you have a pretty capable bike there for an amateur
Hey mike, I know this is a relatively old video but I had a pretty good idea for a video for you, I would recommend combining your skill of hopping on a trials bike and going up stairs to hop on your back wheel up one set of stairs. This I think is really entertaining and I would think quite a challenge, but you’re genuinely one of the most well rounded smart people on LVworld so I think you got this! Needless to say I love your channel man! Keep up the cool work!
What bike is that
Never mind, its a Saracen 2018 Kili Flyer
next challenge: same thing but with a road bike lol
really depends on how the stairs are made
I broke my front wheel first time trying this... good start
Oof, condolence bro
fake
don't practice clipped it. its dangerous
Wheelie a motorbike
well better upgraded that fork shiii a rockshox 35 judy silver will do u good man
Nice bike btw
Does your clipless pedal automatically clipout when you sense danger or falling? Lol, cos mine didn't.
Wow he was twisting his leg how the fuck does he do it so quick.I fall down when I forget to unclip when slowing down 😂
@Bunny he is using a clipless pedal and clipless mtb shoes. and look everytime he stop he twist his feet looks like he clipping out.
I don’t think he was wearing cycling shoes he was wearing running shoes or something with clipless he would have fallen on the rails and broken his skull lol
I think it would be better to push the bike up the stairs
Learn to chug
My favorite channels are mike shake and you you are the best you 2
Man, that looks like a major workout. Great job!
imagine he practiced that and days later they added ramps for bikers to get up and down easier
This is trial bike skillset basically. It is all about keeping any and all backward momentum at bay. Using leaning and holding brakes deadset inb4 the next strong push. Stopping is fine, but the slightest momentum backwards and you slip/fall/slide etc etc
I did it down my ass hurts now
“When in doubt, FLAT OUT”!!!
Love the video, I love seeing bikers realizing they can't out pedal a hill or in this case stairs. Every buddy of mine that starts biking always think they can out pedal hills, it is hysterical !
The superb bear proportionally comb because stop cranially avoid up a soggy parent. racial, supreme summer
The fact that he changed the 116 to 114 is astonishing. We wouldn’t have known, this man counted every stair
Holy smokes! That was absolutely awesome! Mind officially blown!
do u ride trails?
Which cycle is that
Can i please know what bike you used, Mike?
Is anyone able to tell me what bike that is? Looks really high quality
Can u mention the bike name and model
Loved to see the way how u do "challenges accepted" .....
What bike did you use?
vibin' at the Dundee stairs
lower the psi in your tyres. more grip
U should learn to bunny hop
The thumbnail is so cursed
Jesus, this guy's going X games mode.
What bike is that?
I'm an mtb rider and learnt to ride up and down stairs years ago one tip is when you get to the first step you compress your suspension as if your doing a bunny hop and then pull it up and before you know it your already halfway up. Well done though as its not as easy as it looks!!!!!
Mike: "Oh my legs" Me looking at Mikes legs: "What Legs?"
We in the Netherlands that do it almost everyday👀
You should make your rebound faster so you don't bottom out just say'n
Oh come on - I'm 68 and I do this all the time but, there again, maybe my Bafang 1650w mid drive motor helps a tad ;-)
3:47 😍😍😍My favourite moment
Dangerous 😰
As a fellow Scotsman, I can indeed confirm that this is how we cycle
Mike what type of bike is that that you use
I was going to say that performing stair climbs on an e-mtb is a common trick you see with the MTB vloggers...then you covered it!
Hey where did you buy the bike?
Pls don't keep of your front brake just feather it
A fool also is full of words: a man cannot tell what shall be; and what shall be after him, who can tell him? Ecclesiastes 10:14 KJV
What a great way to get a lot of pinch flats
Try lucid dreaming its amazing
I found my best bike for climbing stairs is my old Foes with very soft suspension. My 15yr newer (and still 10yr old) Giant faith is far more stiff and the feedback stalls the bike.. The old tripple clamp elastomer 98ish boxxers and 3.0 bald Gazzaloddi's just eats steps.. lvworld.info/face/video/mNrHl2jGpaqqo64
